UPPERCASE LEGAL announces the opening of dispute resolution practice.

Sergey Levichev joins UPPERCASE LEGAL as a partner and will develop the practice area related to dispute resolution in foreign jurisdictions. The focus of the practice will primarily be on disputes in the UAE, including state courts and arbitration under the rules of arbitration centers located in the UAE.

Over the past seven years, Sergey Levichev has managed international projects related to distressed assets at one of the largest banks in Russia. Sergey’s experience includes representing the bank in disputes under LCIA rules, leading teams of lawyers to participate in litigation in state courts in England, France, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, USA, Argentina, South Korea, Ecuador, Singapore and Switzerland, realizing debtor’s assets in the EU and UAE under English bankruptcy law, shaping strategy in cross-border disputes against the world’s largest financial corporations in mutual anti-suit injunctions.

Sergey Levichev is a graduate of St. Petersburg State University and holds an LLM degree in dispute resolution from a leading US school.
