UPPERCASE LEGAL Announces New Partners and Strengthens Its Dispute Resolution Practice
We are pleased to announce that two highly qualified professionals are joining the UPPERCASE LEGAL team — Namru Bakaev as a Partner and Sergey Milutin as a Counsel in the Dispute Resolution Practice.
Namru Bakaev is a member of the Moscow Regional Bar Association with over 20 years of experience in comprehensive criminal-law protection of businesses and entrepreneurs. Namru also focuses on corporate dispute resolution, including the protection of shareholders’ and participants’ rights.
At UPPERCASE LEGAL, Namru will focus on developing the firm’s Moscow office, where he will oversee work related to protecting the rights of investors from the Middle East, CIS countries, and Asia who are launching projects in Russia.
Sergey Milutin is an attorney of the Moscow Bar Association, a recognized expert in Russian and international commercial law, Doctor of Law, and LL.M. (Germany). For more than 12 years, he has specialized in business law, including complex cross-border litigation, compliance and sanctions, energy law, internal investigations, as well as advising private clients on international family law and private wealth management.
Sergey Milutin will strengthen the UPPERCASE LEGAL Dispute Resolution Practice led by Partner Sergey Levichev and will also focus on developing the firm’s Moscow office, building relationships with international clients — primarily from the United States, the European Union, and the Middle East — who have interests in Russia.
