Office in Dubai: why it is needed for Russian law firms

Alexander Kukuev told Pravo.ru media about the advantages of having a law firm presence in the UAE jurisdiction.

Over the past two months, the UAE has become one of the most popular destinations for Russian emigration, alongside Armenia, Georgia, and Turkey. Wealthy Russian citizens, in particular, are moving there and bringing their companies to the Emirates. In order to assist their clients on the ground, Russian lawyers have also arrived in Dubai.

The K&P.Law representation opened in the Emirates a year ago. According to Alexander Kukuev, the senior partner and head of international legal practice, he and his team saw the prospects of the Middle East for Russian entrepreneurs even then.

"We understand that we were right in providing additional opportunities for Russian business in the face of the sanctions pressure," emphasizes Kukuev.
